Our Family Insight Stories
Hear from our families and why they chose to send their children to Slade Green Temple Grove.
We looked at a number of schools locally and Slade Green Temple Grove was definitely the best school. When I drop her off in the morning I know she is going to be safe. At the end of the school day, there is always something that she has to share with the family like a certificate or another achievement. It makes me feel really proud.
Livvy is a very caring and committed girl – she recently raised over £600 for the Princess Trust by donating her hair. I feel that the school has definitely nurtured this side of Livvy. Achievement is recognised and rewarded. We have a folder of certificates at home including her Pen License and she has been top of her class several times. I can see her developing academically too, especially her literacy and her confidence in public speaking. In music lessons, she absolutely loved the trumpet and she has asked for one for her next birthday. I am really pleased that we chose Slade Green Temple Grove for her.

M’Nukunu always wants to be the first to get to school – that says a lot about the school, teachers and community. It’s a real joy to see the children happy at the end of the school day. We are very proud that we can say our son has a Haberdashers’ education and that he is developing so well. There is a sense of drive in the school and desire to get better and improve all the time.
We knew of the reputation of other Haberdashers’ schools which is why we came to visit Haberdashers’ Slade Green Temple Grove, which is a short walk from our home. Having chosen Slade Green for M’Nukunu, we have been very involved and we feel that our views are listened to and acted upon. We love that there is so much outdoor space and that children can explore the Forest School. It is great there is a connection with Haberdashers’ Aske’s Crayford Academy as a secondary school but the most important point for us is that M’Nukunu will have a good education at Slade Green Temple Grove, and have a number of options of secondary schools open to him when the time comes.
